A bit of definition confusion
I'm a little confused about the definition of two words that I see in alot of hand posts... yeah trivial and I have a clue but I just want to make sure I understand... (they are not in the definitions in the stickey)
Donk (not the noun the verb) as in Donk the flop or turn... Peel same usage as in peel the flop or turn. Please chuckle and define Rig |

Re: A bit of definition confusion
means to lead the bet when on the previous street someone behind them lead.
Means the player woke up and has a hand Peel means I don't have a hand but I am going to call the raise anyways cause I don't believe the guy and something might develop...(classic example holding two overcards on a donked flop) |

Re: A bit of definition confusion
donk (dawnk), v. to bet into someone who was the aggressor the street before. When I made my flush on the river I donked because I was afraid he would check behind for a free showdown.
peel (peel) n. to call without a made hand because the pot odds or implied odds justify it. I was only getting 8-1 on my gutshot, so it was a loose peel, but I knew I'd get paid off well if I hit. |

peel (peel) n. to call without a made hand because the pot odds or implied odds just barely or don't quite justify it. I was only getting 8-1 on my gutshot, so it was a loose peel, but I knew I'd get paid off well if I hit. [/ QUOTE ] fyp...peels are thin. |

True 'nuff. [/ QUOTE ] Oh, and it can also be a verb: Go ahead and peel the flop, you'll make it up if you hit on the turn with these nutbags. |

Peel means I don't have a hand but I am going to call the raise anyways cause I don't believe the guy and something might develop [/ QUOTE ] I disagree with this definition. You can still peel even when you think villain has something. Calculating pot odds/implied odds is good! |

[/ QUOTE ] nit (nitt) n. what boz is being in this thread. Seriously, I have a degree in English and I'm not being nearly as grammar-anal as you. I think he gets it now, stop beating the dead horse.
