Default KK on ugly board in 3 bet pot vs tag

villain here is running at about 22/19/3 and we have been at war for about 3 hours. I'm running at about 26/20 and have made a lot of moves on him. He has a history of raising my cbets in non 3 bet pots. This is the first 3 bet pot we have played as he has folded to most of my 3 bets.

Party Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 4 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

UTG: $854.10
BTN: $438.60
SB: $512.30
Hero (BB): $1,738.79

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
<font color="red">UTG raises to $14</font>, 2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $54</font>, UTG calls $40

Flop: ($110) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)

pretty tough spot, although i dont like giving free cards on that board, i think getting it in here is rarely gonna be in ur favor, id prob call and prob have to fold turn if he shows a lot of aggression, another play would be to raise him to 500 on the flop and fold to a shove but i think this is prob worse as his bet size doesnt seem like a draw IMO (obviously player dependant though), seems like either a monster or a bluff trying to fold the weaker parts of ur range for cheap. I would also maybe include some feeler hands in his range with such a bet, hands like jacks or queens. So in conc, id prob call and have to fold the turn barring some ridiculous amount or card (i dont think if he was bluffing the flop with such a weak bet hed continue very often and i doubt he bets many hand we beat).

ppl will call 3bets with sevens and nines all day long, along with the occasional 109s or suited 1 gapers which hit that board hard - especially if theyve been warring and he is getting frustrated of hero's 3bets.

the size of his bet makes me think he has a draw or a hand where he wants to find out where his at

He basically minraised the flop, how does that look like a draw.

thats what I figured, draws are probably not a huge part of his range with his bet sizing.

Additionally there was a hand about 15 minutes ago that played out identically to this except it wasn't a 3 bet pot. J32 rainbow flop, I cbet he mini raises, i fold. I think against most players that makes this more of a fold

er is it just me or am i the only one who thinks that minraises are MORE likely to be draws?

edit: ah crap, didn't realize it was 2/4 and we're 200bb deep...hum

Why did you bet so much on the flop?

As played, I'd just fold. Sucks to get 200BBs in here, and our reverse implieds are awful if we call.

assuming he's still playing standard TAG, ie not opening his range against your 3-bet, you're only really way ahead of JJ/QQ, but there are 12 combos of them, whereas there are 15 combos of sets/AA, which are also more likely to raise this turn than JJ/QQ

88/AQs are also possibilities, but you're still only a 60-40 favorite against those hands

you probably can't take any additional heat if you call, so i'd probably fold here. if you call, get it in on a brick.
