villain it too loose (esp oop), and overvalues hands. 2k stacks hero raises to 70 on button w/TT, SB folds, villain calls in BB. flop (150): 9s 8d 2d villain checks, hero bets 120, villain raises to 340, hero raises to 840, villain calls turn (1830): 9c villain shoves for ~1100 |

some thoughts, i expected him to shove flop w/most of his holdings, including 9x, straight/flush draws, 2pr/set, etc. it is possible for him to hold JJ-KK, maybe AA, but i dont think a large part of his range can consist of that.
i do expect him to stack off w/9x. i didnt expect him to flat call my flop 3bet. this turn obviously means 9x got there, but then again, its a bad turn for me in his view. can he ever shove a draw there (diamonds, JT, 76, T7) trying to bluff me off an overpair? or is this always 9x making sure i dont check behind a draw? i think w/the turn shove i can also rule out boats, but perhaps i cant - hes not a very predictable player, but given how loose he is and his propensity for stacking off light, i feel the flop 3bet is automatic |
