NL50 QQ in rr pot line check
Only history with villain is I'd folded to a 3bet of his earlier, and to a couple of raises of my c-bet, so maybe he views me as weak.
Fairly dry flop so I think a 2/3rd c-bet is okay here, especially as it's a rr pot. Turn check seems standard, and after river pairs the J, JJ for him becomes much less likely, so with river bet I put him on air, missed diamonds, or perhaps AKdd, AA, KK that is being tricky. Anyone play this differently? Re: NL50 QQ in rr pot line check
I don't call river here, we don't really beat anything except for 1010, which I doubt he has due to his flop and turn play. I see something like AdKd or AdJd (AJd makes the most sense here) a lot. Even a lone J or K beats you.

Re: NL50 QQ in rr pot line check
I'd let it go at the river as well. There's not much you beat here, unless you know villain will call your pf3bet light (with SCs for example). Even still, I'd just let it go.
Also, a smaller PP like TT would just check thru on the river as well, so his bet is either a bluff or value bet, and I'd definitely lean towards value bet. |
