Default 200NL - Top set, gross spot

Villain in this hand is 37/8/1.4 over about 70 hands. No specific reads yet but he seems to be a loose passive donk. Does he ever not have a straight when he bets the river here? Also, is there any reason to bet the turn?

bet the turn for value (he's not folding 2 pair or KX)

fold the river

i bet a bit more on this flop vs. a loose villian

i also bet the turn for value

as played i call the river, all you did was make a rather small c-bet on the flop and then check the turn, he might be betting a lot of hands here, like two pair, smaller set that missed a c/r....

Looks good, I'd fold river and play the rest the same. Betting the turn is reasonable also.

Fold river is fine.

Re betting turn, if villain has a 9 we get check-raised off a hand with which we stack him if we fill up. If villain has 2 pair or lower set we will get the same value bet on the river as on the turn.

Is this better or do all the times he has Kx and calls a turn bet more than balance?

I would def call the river against a villian who seems to be donkish. I would not be suprised if you´re up against AJ or similiar here, and I would bet the turn like half pot if he is a passive player, and fold to a checkraise.
