2-4 hand......AT fullhouse on the river
Villain seems a solid TAG. Stats 19/1/9.6/1.4 after 158 hands.
Preflop: 1 fold, 2 (a TAG and Villain) calls, 2 folds, Hero calls with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3 folds, BB checks. Flop 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]: 2 checks, Villain bets, Hero raises, 2 folds, Villain 3 bets, Hero calls. Re: 2-4 hand......AT fullhouse on the river
I cap river, would not have raised the turn.
The 10 should be a scare card for villain unless he has one as well. Maybe he got married to an overpair, but a TAG with JJ+ should be frightened of the river unless he has quads. I find it hard not to put in one more bet knowing that was it. If this was live with a 5 bet cap or unlimited raise h/u I just call. I also capped a full house into quads today, so I dont learn easily LOL |

Re: 2-4 hand......AT fullhouse on the river
After the flop 3-bet, I call the turn. I'll raise the river once, but if you don't think he's an idiot, I don't see why you'd expect to do better than split, so I just call the river 3-bet.

Re: 2-4 hand......AT fullhouse on the river
Preflop:
I have trouble with this hand after two TAG limpers. I guess they don't have better aces usually so raise to isolate them, get blinds out of the pot, hopefully buy button. Flop: Raise is good to protect against over cards or smaller pairs, after 3-bet on a very dry board I think you are against another T or set. TAGs don't limp or call with T6, T2 or 62. Maybe 99. Overpair played weirdly is very rare here. Turn: Don't raise. I very much doubt you have anything to protect here. You are either wa/wb. Overpair is unlikely. JT, QT, KT you all beat - let him bet those but these are not likely holdings. River: You lose to 66. You beat 22, a lone 6, weirdly played overpairs. Raising is fine. Capping is a decision between the extra 1BB you lose to 66 or not so often win from 22, lone 6 or overpairs and the little extra rake you pay when you raise. This looks like 66 very often or split so there's not much to win here. Call the 3-bet. |
