also, surely one of you guys has been to/had a bachelor party. I need ideas.

[/ QUOTE ]

Whats the budget/restrictions as far as travel go?

Best bachelor parties I've been to have all been in Vegas, but I live in CA so it's not like its a far trip.

[/ QUOTE ]

Am I supposed to pay for it all or does everyone chip in? I have as much money as expected for a ssnl/burgeoning msnl player, and my brothers friends all have decent politics jobs in DC so no one is really poor. They live on the east coast, but myself and his high school friends live in the midwest. that said, Vegas will work, so travel restrictions are probably just keep it in the US. That's not a very good answer but I don't really know how much you're supposed to spend.

oh yeah, what did you do in Vegas? In my head I'm just picturing us getting some kind of suite and providing alcohol and strippers and stuff, kinda like the scene from Very Bad Things minus the hooker getting killed and us cutting up and disposing of her body in the desert.

Vegas Batchelor party was pretty much as you described it,
lots of alcohol, and strippers. We rented a penthouse suite at the Hard Rock hotel and pretty much went to town.

One bit of advice I would give is keep the party fairly small, that way you don't have to worry about bankrolling a bunch of broke freerollers.

A friend of mine is a friend of one of the managers of the Spearamint Rhino, so we got a bunch of Dancers to come up to the pad and party with us pretty much for like 3 days. Crazy ass trip.

Oh yeah, if you can't keep the party small, get money up front and don't worry about being a dick about it. I've had to pull money out of my own pocket a couple of times to cover so of my friends broke dumb friends who try to freeload the bachelor trip. Not cool, but you obviously can't stick the groom with the tab.

Required brag: Goofy 2, 42yo 0 in the first of what will hopefully be many epic Mario Strikers battles.

To his credit, he got stuck with a crappy team cause I took his favorite captain so he couldn't pick a new team in time.

Two things:

1. I'm finally getting a HDTV box on my living room TV in the next 4 hours. It's definitely overdue.

2. Am I a girl if I have an appointment in two weeks for a massage?

Hells no (unless you are also getting a manicure or pedicure in which case I see a Milwaukee's Best can in your near future).
