The verdict: 246.

If TuQ weighed 40 more pounds 2 of me would equal 1 TuQ.

Wow, your fat! How tall are you?

BTW, I never had a strong upper body, but for the 2yrs I lifted in college I could do 210 a couple of times at 160 lbs. So by pretty wimpy standards your also weak imo. I hope you haven't been working out very long.

Current weight?

Before weigh-in I was guessing 255, my lift partner 260. The verdict: 246. That's actually only one pound more than I weighed four years ago, when I lost twenty pounds in the month before Thanksgiving. I have two weeks more to play with and by cutting out alcohol and eating decently I think the loss of thirty should be easier than everyone thinks.

Sadly, while only weighing a single pound more, I know my body fat is a lot higher. I used to be able to throw up a few reps on the bench at 245; now I struggle for same at 205.

Had Pei Wei for lunch! Kung Pao Chicken FTW. No rice.

Thanks to everyone who, for whatever reason, cared about this. LFS and others perhaps we could start a challenge thread in the H&F forum to track our progress and peer pressure our way to weight loss but I don't want to put money on it. Just seems like a hassle and it's something we should be supporting each other on anyway.

The avatar thing is VERY temporary. I changed it because all the Rockies homers changed to that avatar and I wanted to sneak comments into the NLCS thread without them noticing it was me. It's disgusting to look at IMO.

Unrelated, but the chick in the office next to me is obsessed with the Oasis song "Wonderwall". Specifically, this part:

I said maybe
You're gonna be the one who saves me?
And after all
You're my wonderwall

She plays this part over and over again and sings along, and doesn't realize that I can hear her through the relatively thin walls.

Also, this going dry thing sucks - it took me three hours to go to sleep last night, when I finally did I had a nightmare that some guy (black as it turned out through my peephole, so I am a racist obv) was trying to break into my place, mere minutes after I locked the door as he was running from the cops apparently and there was a police helicopter flying around. Then I had a dream that some guy was killing a bunch of cats and people and I gunned him down with a submachine gun and then for some reason was consigned to hang out and sleep next to all the bodies for a few days. WTF, need to go back to drinking as this isn't working out.

Cutting out the liquor to lose weight is the weak man's way to do things. More working out, more liquor, and more marathon sexin'.
