Re: JJ sb Stars 6.50
I just call preflop and then c/c the flop.
As played I like your flop + turn line if you folded there. |

Re: JJ sb Stars 6.50
As ever thanks Rex,
I did fold. It bugged me though. With second A on turn, does he really have what he's representing? Wierd way to play QQ, KK. If he has made trips or filled up, surely he CRAI turn? I don't think i can call but just thought his line was odd. |

Re: JJ sb Stars 6.50
I don't mind your preflop raise! Your hand is strong so I definetively raise for value!!
Your flop/turn line is nice... |

Re: JJ sb Stars 6.50
hmm. no reads it has to be a fold but his turn bet seems sooo weak. It looks either a real weak ace or some kind of club draw.

Re: JJ sb Stars 6.50
at a 6.50 I would think if opponent caught trips on the turn, he'd check it back. Honestly, I would probably fire the turn, but I play these spots very aggro (when top pair pairs and I have an underpocket).

Re: JJ sb Stars 6.50
I normally call with JJ but your resteal is pretty nice. JJ is not THAT strong and there is a big worry if an Ace drops and CO actually has something.
Now it gets more delicate - you can leave the tournament if he has or be crippled at best. You bet says you have an ace and he does not blink which creates a little shrinkage down under. Turn is great - the chips you lost hurt but it is not REAL crippling. The chips you COULD have lost would have been disastrous. The chips you COULD have won would have been nice but not really needed yet. Bottom line is that this hand tells you that you will need to really ramp up the aggression at t100 when others go into their shell. Pick your spots and come at them hard. |
