Default Re: Any laptop that can drive 2560x1600 Dell 3007WFP?

Will this work?

Im looking to buy this laptop.

Its a M570u from Clevo.

CPU: Intel® Core™2 Duo T7200 2,00GHz, 4MB, 667MT/s, Mobile "Merom"

4096 MB DDR2 PC5300 667MHz

17" typ: WUXGA (1920x1200)

nVidia Corporation GeForce GO 7950 GTX - 512 MB DDR3 RAM

And im going to use a 30" Apple Cinema Display with 2560x1600 resolution.

This laptop can handle the resolution right?

Best regards
Kalle Friberg

I'm certain that the PCIE versions of the GeForce 7950 support dual-link.

I just typed "GeForce GO 7950 GTX" (the model number) into Google, and http://www.hothardware.com/Articles/..._GTX_Preview1/ seemed to list specs.

I couldn't find it easily on the nvidia website.

However, since you're probably spending a large chunk of money with this supplier, just ask the retailer. I imagine they can tell you either way.
