I wont be one to argue with everybody here, but I am a little surprised that this is a unanimous call from everyone against a player who raises 3% of his hands.

How about betting less when you're not trying to play for stacks? Maybe $18 on the flop. Once you get to the turn, $40-ish?

If you're not going to call the turn check/shove I think you have to check behind on the turn.
