Convert hand please. For many reasons it's a good idea. You might want to hide your nick for one.
btw, that call with 99 was awful.... (see?) |

Re: 50NL Good fold with JJ? (on 3t353 board)
PF screams fold, you're flipping with AK and crushed by the rest of his range. Even still, if you're calling his 4bet pre and putting him on exactly AK (would an 18/8 4bet AQ, TT or worse oop? not unless you have a 80/60 image or something), why check the flop through? You obviously cant get this to showdown through 3 streets for free, nor do you want to give him free cards if he does have AK. The turn call doesnt make any sense either if you're folding an irrelevant river.

You can't really fold pf, can you? It's a minraise.
Flop is fine, turn is fine, river is fine. This line looks really standard to me, and probably how most would handle it. Alternate line: Bet the flop and fold to a raise. You lose the same against TT-AA but gain by not giving overs a free card (though he'd probably lead with missed overs). |

[ QUOTE ] push or flod preflop calling is bad for obvious reasons [/ QUOTE ] reasons such as...? [/ QUOTE ] You like a call preflop? I'd make one sometimes but I don't think it's very good. Reverse implied odds seem likely to be a strong problem if you don't hit your set, and even with the pot having been inflated calling solely for set value is pretty damn marginal. |

Re: 50NL Good fold with JJ? (on 3t353 board)
I don't really like this hand at all. Preflop is a pretty sick start, why 3-bet a guy who seems pretty tight passive when he raises UTG, and then when he 4-bets for 20% of stack, why call? You definitely don't have odds to draw to set.
Flop is fine, turn if you're calling, you should call river. There's really no in-between here. And if you think he has AA-QQ, just fold preflop and on the turn. |
