QFT

Also valuebet him way lighter and get to showdown more often with middle pair and such.

Pay attention to his betting pattern, they are always so obvious.

Well, i stopped bringing in anything like suited connecters, because they were worthless againts him.

I started bringing in hands like KQ and QJ because top pair good kicker seemed like a good starting place againts him.

Hands like 88 and down seemed like limps instead of raising hands.

Were these good gear changes, or was i on the wrong path?

The way I play is to limp or otherwise not bet so much preflop, since you don't need a big pot to get it in, and just bet absurdly high amounts of money postflop with TPTK+.

You can also make a weird bluff where you check the turn and if he checks you bet the pot in the river. I don't know why that works but it does, somehow.

That's how I play anyway.
