Straightforward dude, $11 ps
Villain (2545) is a losing player. From what I've seen, he's been straightforward ABC. Still 1st hour, blinds 50/100
UTG+1 (3335) raises to 300, I (5965) call with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in mp, Villain calls in BB. Flop (1000): 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Both check, I bet 400 into 1000, planning to fold to a raise. Both call. Turn (2200): 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Both check again, I check(?) River (2200): 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain thinks a second and pushes his remaining 1845. UTG+1 folds, I fold. Supernit or reasonable? |

Re: Straightforward dude, $11 ps
I don't like your flop bet.
It's usually too low to take the pot down against two opponents and even if you only get one caller pot will be 1800 - which commits at least BB, if both call you have your situation with a 2200 pot and also UTG+1 has only 2600 behind. So on this flop you have to make a commitment-decision once you bet. If you commit yourself to the pot, bet out strong - I'd make it pot-size. If you don't want commit just check behind. As played you have the same decision to make on the turn. river is a call for me. |

Re: Straightforward dude, $11 ps
jeez, does he ever not have a flush taking this line?
I think you have to fold. |

Re: Straightforward dude, $11 ps
don't know - but he gets good odds - and he beats many of villains possible holdings.
this could easily be something like QT, A4 too - we have to win only 1 out of 3. |

[/ QUOTE ] i mean the odds are attractive yeah, i cant "hate" a call, but this is never a lone pair, straightforward players dont make bluff near psb shoves on the river when the flush card hits into 2 people with a pair. even if one did, youd need some kind of read to assume that. |

i agree, i'm sure it's borderline - still with these odds i think i couldn't lay down a set.
