Default 50NL: JJ fro mbutton facing reraise preflop

villian is 15.8/11/7 over 158 hands

I feel like folding is way too weak here on flop bet. Not sure how to access this hand? i guess AQs+, TT+ ?

If you think he'd do this w AQ, he just got there which put you that much further behind his range.

It is still +EV to call however.

You're paying in 28% of a pot w 41% equity. Re-evaluate turn, pitch the hand w/o a J turn card unless you hit a 9/T and he lets you see the river for cheap... if you pitch, convince yourself he had QQ.

Probably call. Hope he checks turn...if he makes a real bet again on turn prolly fold there.

To the poster who said he'd fold pre-flop....that's pretty bad unless you know this guy's 3betting range is really small.

damn I need to learn how to use pokerstove effectively, and I folded to his bet, I think mostly because I seem to get myself in trouble with being way too aggro

You call flop. Often, you can go ahead and 4bet JJ from the button. A lot of people are raising you lighter than usual because, well aren't you to because it's a button raise.

Usually calling is fine, however, especially given villain's stats. That looks like a pretty standard cbet, and you can flat call it.

Just think, if his range is only AK, QQ+, you're still about dead even with villain. (16AK, 15 pp's/sets).
