well, it probably was his decision to start Wang on short rest instead of Moose. Moose had a 3.49 ERA in 5 September starts; there was an argument that we was better than Wang on 3 days rest.

also, Phil Hughes down the stretch was better than Clemens

they don't have no starting pitching. wang was simply ineffective in this series. pettitte was tremendous - well okay, he was as much of a luckbox as paul byrd, but still pitched very well. clemens was finished but hughes should've started that one anyway.
