Sites \"Keeping an eye on you\"
In a recent post I noticed a number of comments stating that certain behavior means poker sites will 'keep an eye on your play / account etc.'
I'm curious to see what people’s assumptions are about exactly what this means as a player. Is it that they suddenly turn on a number of algorithmic tracking systems on your account to see if your behavior matches that of a 'normal' player? I am assuming they don't have a human being sitting there watching you play. Or do they simply have look at your win/loss record and see if it's consistent with normal statistical movement. My guess is that everyone assumes the worst in terms of what the sites gather about them, but I wonder from a practical and logistical perspective if they have the resources to manage this thoroughly? |

Re: Sites \"Keeping an eye on you\"
There is probably a basic level of monitoring that all accounts are subject to.
If you trigger certain flags, you probably have a heightened level of monitoring. If there is specific information about you, you probably have someone investigate your situation in depth. |
