Call. You cant shove now, he probably has too much equity. Pot or crai depending on his agression any non threatening turn. He cant have a better hand here since he would 3bet you preflop. A set I believe raises more and its highly unlikely in BvB anyway.

I don't follow with the shove comment. Do you mean to say if we get it in it'll most likely a flip with most of his draws and if we wait till the turn we kill his equity?

Yes. Your not only likely to be a flip on the flop, you are likely to be a god. On the turn you should have almost 70% equity.
Another reasonable line is to fold because you can not win a big pot, but can loose a big one. |

I'm a nit but I just dump here.
Villain could already have us crushed, be coinflipping, or him actually ahead. We don't have a decent edge over many hands except like A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] which make up a smaller portion of his range. |

How does this change if the board is not monotone?

That way if we donk a diamond turn he thinks we were drawing. It doesn't look like he has a flush or is drawing to a flush imo. I'm assuming his range for this raise includes any set, 99+ and probably A8 which gives you you equity to call 5.75 into a 17.50 pot... If he's raising air some of the time that is. i.e. your paying 32.8% with 31.3% equity if he is being honest about his cards. i dont think calling/seeing next street or folding is all that bad. pair + diamond draws have nearly even equity with us.
