i was discussing this w/ llamage. my question is, why wouldn't one take a b3bai line here vs a c/r?

You're equity vs the range he re-raises your donk-bet with is a lot less than the equity you have vs the hands he's betting this flop w/. That said, you have a lot more FE check/raising this flop and you have the change to get away when he shoves over you.

And w/ in mind the change that you're crushed when he shoves I like a little smaller re-raise on the flop. 10$ seems fine to me. But it's too late for me to calc the odds when you're facing a flop shove (its half past 12 here and I was up early) so I'm not sure about that.
