Seriously though, I would like to see OP take the necessary, long and difficult steps of working this out. Isn't that better than simply saying "It's over"? Isn't a solution that preserves a marriage and results in a better relationship and two people that genuinely are in love with each other and have experienced brokenness and forgiveness the preferrable outcome?

No, once someone messes around its a clear sign of a lack of respect and loyalty. Why would you want to ever do anything nice for someone who cares so little for you? There will always be serious trust issues in this relationship too. Every time she goes to work or the grocery store you'll be wondering who shes [censored]. Not a good time.
