JJ gets a good flop...
Villain is unknown, but playing 18/9/1.5 over about 60 hands FWIW. This is pretty much my first hand at the table.
1. Flop-action: I thought about getting it in here, but I donīt know what to put villain on. Considering his stats, A9 seems unlikely. 98/TT is certainly possible though, but apart from that, am I ahead of anything he plays this way? Should I have just pushed here? 2. Ok, not that I only called on the flop, the turn is as much brick as it can be. Go with the hand or not? Villains bet is kind of weak, but he only has 12 behind though, so if I call here, I pretty much have to call the river.. Re: JJ gets a good flop...
-Bet $1 Pre, cause you are giving the SB and BB an easy call.
-C/R is strong by BB, since he is a nit, and not too aggressive. Althoug the rr amount is kind of weak, it's a pot raise. -Tough, but I would fold turn. you are probably against a set. |

Re: JJ gets a good flop...
thats a tough spot. as played turn is obvs either fold or shove. i want to say shove but this feels very setish to me. with the money in pot versus villains range of 33, 99, 44, TT, QQ, A9, 9T and FDs id say its real close.

Re: JJ gets a good flop...
If you fold turn you'd fold flop. Villain never checks the turn when check/raising the flop. Only if he's afraid of a flush if it spikes on the turn, but the hands that are afraid of the flush are the hands you don't beat (if the flush on the turn hits you only beat TT).
So calling the flop makes no sense imo. |
