Two QQ calls/folds vs passive players w/ overs on board
I will have been playing about 18/16/4
Hand 1 Guy is 29/13/1 with a river AF 2 over decent but not huge sample. He insta bet river. Party Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter Hero (SB): $396 BB: $589 UTG: $620.47 CO: $380.16 BTN: $531.10 Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB) UTG calls $4, 2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $20</font>, BB folds, UTG calls $16 Flop: ($44) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $30</font>, UTG calls $30 Turn: ($104) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $68</font>, UTG calls $68 River: ($240) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, <font color="red">UTG bets $234</font>, Hero ??? Hand 2 Guy is real fishy playing 54/6/1. Called 3bets squeezes in the middle with hands as bad as 26s. No post flop reads yet as only played about 20 hands with him. W/ my flop bet sizing I lean on a call as I was kind of inducing amd banking on the fact he prob cant fold a PP there to the bet. Party Poker, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter CO: $1,330.22 BTN: $261.75 Hero (SB): $396 BB: $372.10 UTG: $772.70 MP: $397.50 Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB) UTG folds, <font color="red">MP raises to $12</font>, CO folds, BTN calls $12, <font color="red">Hero raises to $58</font>, 2 folds, BTN calls $46 Flop: ($132) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $62</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises to $203.75 and is All-In</font>, Hero ??? |

[ QUOTE ]
Both are folds for me. [/ QUOTE ] Ditto. Also don't really love the flop/turn in the first hand. I guess the flop is alright, but I think the turn bet is bad. The second hand I'm not a fan of bet/folding this flop, I'm not a fan of bet/calling either, though. I would have checked the flop, as played I don't think you're ahead here very often at all. |

Re: Two QQ calls/folds vs passive players w/ overs on board
GRUNCH:
HAND 1: either bet a little bigger on the turn (for information), (likr $75) or C-F. i find a lot of villains like limp-calling SAs, which they never ever fold on an ace-high flop. HAND 2: i think this is very highly read-dependant, but i think the max EV line is more likely to be C-F or C-C. FWIW i think your bet looks a LOT like a mosnter trying for max value. |
