I had no idea.. I didnt think a worse hand would ever call.. fwiw he INSTA shoved.. which I thought could be weakness but sometimes these guys show up with teh nuts. I mean his range is like AQ/J10/whiffed hearts.. pretty decent odds.. soo is this just an easy call?

You can call here, but you lose more often than you think. Not impossible for him to have Aces up or better here. I would have to lend a lot of credence to missed hearts to make this call.

Yeah this is really WTF. I guess bet fold is the best here, but that's hindsight. Doesn't AQ usually repop from the button multiway and does he really think it's a value shove on river after you fire two barrels? I guess 10hJh might play it this way if he's super tricky and wants to make it look like a busted draw. The only other hand I guess that makes any sense here is AA getting tricky PF and is not at all worried about the board pairing. Those are like the only hands I could put him on besides missed hearts. I really don't think you can fault a call here as his play is pretty weird.

Man, this is so weird, I prob call this, but don't feel good about it.

And I don't see why we'd ever bet this river without some specific read that villain is a terrible calling station

I snap call this and you played it perfectly if you call this river super fast IMO. And checking this river with the intention of doing anything other than snapping off a bluff is bad.

If you check it has to be check/call, then it's well played.
