[ QUOTE ] why did you limp fish [/ QUOTE ] Obviously I limped to get the best implied odds possible. Next time you're in the shower you might want to check your body for scales and fins. [/ QUOTE ] |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] why did you limp fish [/ QUOTE ] Obviously I limped to get the best implied odds possible. Next time you're in the shower you might want to check your body for scales and fins. [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] This is obviously an OK time to limp. A lot of people think limping is automatically a fishy play, because they don't have the skill to follow it up correctly. Implied odds is part of the reason, but also to see the rest of the action. Whether you raise or limp, you are in a sticky situation if you are reraised preflop. I would usually raise here, but limping isn't terrible. |

[ QUOTE ] and a large minority of the time [/ QUOTE ] okay... um... lol? [/ QUOTE ] There are small minorities and there are large minorities. Small minorities go with large majorities and large minorities go with small majorities. What's so hard to understand about that ? |

Re: FTP $1M : limp 99 utg , raised by co
Putting aside the threadwreckers for the moment, one can easiy see that this hand is an excellent illustration of the paradox of Schrodinger's cat, with sufficient odds to play for set value representing the live cat and insufficient odds the dead cat.
