Default NL200: preflop decision with TT vs squeeze

Coldcaller is a loose player (50vpip over 300 hands). Only have 40 hands from BB, but he seems to be taggish.

Calling cant be an option. I either have to 4bet or fold. I sort of tend towards folding, because if he calls the maximum I can get is a coin flip. On the other hand there isnt enough money in the pot yet that the fold equity outweighs the disadvantage when I get called.

What do you think?

Party Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

CO: $318.35
Hero (BTN): $197
SB: $120.30
BB: $315.28
UTG: $86.90
MP: $189

Folding is just giving BB money, he should be squeezing with 2352360% of hands if you do. Shove/call is close, I elect to shove. If his raising range is realistic then it's +EV to shove regardless of his calling range

ok so were going broke on every low flops... because obviously if we call its not for set value. 4beting and folding is just terrible giving stacksize.

And no I don't agree it's giving BB money since he's a TAG player why would he squeeze with something like a low PP/SC here given that SB is a terrible player?

We've as well no 3b history against that player so we'll be playing without any knowledge or whatsover is his 3b range from the blinds.

The only plus here is we've position (yee?).

I don't consider that a 'squeeze' for the only reason that SB is bad. Hes raising for value and for hand protection. He wants SB in obv and you as well.

What you do on A high flop and he leads. J high and he leads. 3-6-8 and he leads or c/rai Q high K high? Not enought infos to play our stack in the dark here, it might be tight but if you call be ready to be wb most of the time.

fold against an unknown. TT is good enough to continue against many players but withoud any reads or history this is a very easy fold.

wrong. shoving is bad, turns our hand into a bluff as only better hands call here.

without a read, I fold and make a note.
