Villain is 29/20/3 over ~100 hands. Sometimes I think a bit of my flop aggression should be moved to the turn. Is this a good time for that or should I also aggro the turn?

He has an extremely high flop af so I think he'd play a lot of his hands like that. Not sure I took that into consideration while playing though. I'm behind A8, KQ and maybe QT or K8 but I think I'm often good on the turn.

you forgot K8s, discounted 89s, QJ, Q9s, AQ, discounted KK and AA
what hands does he raise preflop and the flop with that you beat? |

Well, I did list K8 and I think he'd cap AA and KK most of the time. So pf raise a bit less than top 20% of all hands considering his position. And I think this guy could very well cap the flop with a majority of those as well.
You think I'm behind on the turn more often than not? |

[/ QUOTE ] this is the reason good players don't cap pf with AA or KK here. You go spastic with two outs. When he raises the flop, I think you are winning about 10% of the time. My goal would be to get to showdown. As played, you can c/f the turn. |

I agree get to showdown after the flop raise but I think our chances of winning are a lot better than 10%. If you really think you're only winning about 10% of the time after the flop raise you should fold outright as calling down bets on the following streets is not going to be worth it.

[/ QUOTE ] i was exagerating a bit. i like my hand enough to showdown, but 3betting here is just too much. If he has a flush draw, dont worry about giving a free card, or trying to protect against a free card, because he's going to charge himself anyway. |
