Re: NL10 AQ with reraise on turn
I have no idea what I would do here -- probably fold, because it seems like I've played villains in this type of spot who turn over trips. Really looking forward to the responses on this one.

Re: NL10 AQ with reraise on turn
Seems like the turn minraise is either a set that he's decided to be cute about or a donk who's pissed off at your betting and decided he's taking a stand. I'd definitely like to hear from a more seasoned player on this, but my initial reaction is to flat it and see what happens on the river.

Re: NL10 AQ with reraise on turn
I'd call and see if he cares to bet the river, if he bets river strong I might consider folding. I don't give up just yet to a minraise, otherwise you are too exploitable imo

Re: NL10 AQ with reraise on turn
I think once you've called the turn raise, even if he shoves the river it's too cheap not to call. If he checks the river, I definitely check it down though.
The more I think about it, the more that turn CR scares me... it's such a bad play no matter what he has. |

Re: NL10 AQ with reraise on turn
As much as this c/c, c/raise on the turn just screams 33 or 77, I think I call the minraise here. I often see villains feigning strength with a lower A/combo draw, knowing this line (c/c, c/mr) portrays strength and therefore increases their FE. I fold to any strength on the river, but if checked to I think i blockbet to entice a call from a lower A.

Re: NL10 AQ with reraise on turn
Why fold the river even if he shoves? It'd be something like $3.5 into about $19. If you're going to fold, it needs to be on the turn. The question at that point becomes whether he makes that turn minraise as a bluff, or with a weaker ace or a PP that hasn't spiked. If we're pretty sure this is a set or AK, then fold the turn. Otherwise, felt it as cheaply as possible.

didn't realize we'd be getting such good odds on the river :-P
still think we need to call |

Re: NL10 AQ with reraise on turn
At this level I think Ax is more likely I wouldnt be surprised to see two pair or low set here. I think I would fold, but I am a nit

Re: NL10 AQ with reraise on turn
i think a flat call would be ok in this position. alot of times in that situation we will see ax... maybe two pair.. but you are losing money i think if you continue to fold this all the time.
