Foxwoods WPT picks up with bigger buyins Nov 1 ME is around the 10th

I think a lot of the people that are in vegas or on west coast right now are doing that group of events unless they are in europe

what's so sick is that with stars you get the whole rollercoaster of not seeing their hand and being like "well hope he doesn't have a king" then "i think that ace is a bad card, hopefully he has like 88 or something."

then the river comes you're like "well that's a brick at least" and the cards get flipped over and you see his hand and have to double take to see the board and you can't believe what just happened.

i hate stars for exactly this kind of hand

fwiw a rep from stars addressed this in a thread somewhere in the internet gaming forum.

Basically he said they have discussed it in length, and they feel not showing the cards promotes more action. Fish won't be so scared to make that terrible play getting it in aipf with garbage or whatever if they know the table won't see their cardsa and call them a fish.

I'm sorta drunk and may not have explained that well but hopefully you get the jist of it.

the key is when you do it live against donkeys you have to overbet the river and look really calm and indifferent. i know it seems like "oh no now i'll be giving them even more money when they make atrocious calls" but really they'll be like "wow i've never seen an overbet bluff on the river from a white guy before, guess i have to fold my top pair"

he didnt a couple of months ago when i played him hu 10/20 and he kept folding to 4 bets with 63s and stacking off with bottom pair [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Obv hes just psycho aggro and on a heater... cts shd probably play him as he was on a bigger one last time i checked, that sure would be fun to see.

Are there going to be unlimited numbers of 25/50 6max tables anytime soon?
