Meh, even though you hold the Ah I think there are too many draws on this board that you're missing value from by checking. With a PFR of 7 there are very few hands he's opening with that contain a ten, just go to valuetown on the turn.

One nice thing about this line is that you're much more likely to get two streets of value from a queen.

I prefer a bet on the turn: you have to protect your hand from his draws: if hes calling 58% of the time preflop, its probably because he likes making big hands, and if hes that type of player, hes apt to stay in with a lot of draws
hes also more likely to have a T here for the same reason... If he does have a T, you pretty much have to decide whether you're willing to go broke or not, against an average player, or an unknown, I would. Against a player that is "less aggressive", they would have to be considerably less aggressive for me to check/fold that turn. [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |
