3-way pot, with 2 villains, one deep, one average stacked.
Deep stacked villain in the CO is 22/13/4 in 300+ hands Average stacked villain in the BB is 46/11/2 in 100 + hands Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LegoPoker Hand History Converter UTG: $49.15 Hero (MP): $71.90 CO: $145.10 BTN: $52.25 SB: $76.95 BB: $48.35 Pre-Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP) UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.75, CO calls $1.75, 2 folds, BB calls $1.25 Flop: ($5.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players) BB checks, Hero checks, CO bets $4, BB calls $4, Hero raises to $14, CO calls $10, BB raises to $26, Hero?? Here I have third set, but look at the board. There is a straight possibility as well as oversets that could beat me. You also have 2 players that are willing to play for significant bets on a non-broadway, non-flush board. More importantly, look at the line the BB took on the flop. Check/Call/Raise?? How is this not a monster? And he has an AF of 2. Add in the deep stack whose hanging around, but with his raise/check/call line I think he's ready to fold. What do you do here? |

Can easily be JT, KQ. CO looks really weak, like AT. You should have led the flop. I think you are behind here rarely.

One thing to add here, The CO had an aggression factor of 4 but his Flop aggression factor was a 7. Also, he was pouncing on any post flop weakness every chance he had. I figured he'd put in a bet and he did.
I do agree that I normally need to lead that flop, but in this case it really was a special circumstance and wanted to break this guy of betting every hand since he was directly to my left. |

shove here, I think you might see 2 pair from BB and TP or a draw (OE) from CO.
If they do have 78 then you have a decent amount of outs |

Shove it and love it.
Lead the flop. If you are going to worry about set over set when you get resistance then you should stop playing small pp's |

I'm very surprised that no one cares about the check/call/raise line in the face of aggression from the BB. How often do you see this? To me it screams STRENGTH!!! Especially 3-way when each of the other 2 players have raised on this street already.
That being said, I ignored my instinct, and said if I lose so be it, and I shoved. The CO folded like I expected and the BB called and turned over 10 10 for top set. Turn was a 9, to give both of us a boat, and the river was a 10 to give him quads, even though it didn't matter. I'm not surprised by all the votes for shoving, but am very surprised that no one expressed any reservations on this. |

Just one of those hands where you destined to put the money in and hope for the best. No folding here, sorry. BB does have a good, made hand here -- we don't know what it is, but we're way ahead of a lot of 2pr hands, way behind sets, and have outs against the straight. Considering how much is in there, we have to go with it. Push here.
(note: I ran this kinda fast and might've missed some very logical stuff) Board: 6s 9h Tc Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 35.282% 35.22% 00.06% 235997 402.33 { 6c6d } Hand 1: 30.750% 29.08% 01.67% 194864 11168.33 { QJs, T9s, 87s, QJo } Hand 2: 33.968% 32.30% 01.67% 216426 11168.33 { JJ-99, T9s, T6s, 96s, 87s, T9o, 87o } JJ is only in BB's range to represent all the overpairs that BB might have slowplayed pf, JJ-AA. You'll see that this is a rather pessimistic view, and it's still a push. You're 50% against BB's range if CO drops out btw; I stoved it. Oh, and lead flop. CO raising would be sweet anyway, and c/r just lets him off easy with his aggression. |
