Default (100NL) KK vs. 2p2er - retarded laydown?

I def misplayed this in some manner, but every sign I could think of pointed to nothing but AA. I'm fairly confident in my read, if he pushed me off the best hand I tip my cap. Basically how could I have lost less here, and should I have just stuck it in?

MP2 is 2+2er, 20/14 over 360 hands, seems kinda aggressive.
Timing thing: He very quickly called my PF4B and instashoved to my bet on flop.

Ouch. I think he had a lower pocket pair and knew that the board couldn't have helped anyone.

I would assume his 3 bet range is fairly small considering our positions. This kind of PF action with two regulars is very rare, an EP raise, 3 bet right behind, then he instantly calls my four bet. He also beat me into the pot on the flop, the second i clicked my bet he jammed. I was pretty much planning on getting it in, even though I thought his PF action was very fishy, until he instajammed the flop.
The instacall of 4bet, then instajam no matter what I bet on flop just reeks to me. I have trouble seeing him take this line with QQ or JJ, tho it is possible he had KK so perhaps I shoulda just gone against all my sensors and gut.

Who is the villain (2p2 name)?

EDIT: Misread this (though I'd still like to know who the villain is)...yeah, it's a horrible fold. Once you 4bet, you're committed on any all-low flop, IMO. Since you have K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], his range is pretty much AA/QQ, and, as played, you're getting the right price. The $18 lead sucks, too...just get it in.

just curious but why such a small flop bet?

I would bet at least $40 and call the push.

I think you have to shove or lead/RRAI after there is no ace on the flop.

I would call, Sometimes he is going to have AA and other times he could easily have QQ, JJ, (smaller pair) and once in a blue moon he will do this with KK or AK.

I think you are good here too many of the times to fold KK

I don't like the lead then fold. If you lead that flop you should be calling off all your chips as well.
