Default Is this a standerd play?

The majority of my online play has been mtts but i have ventured into cash games and i was wondering if this is a standard play or if i just continually play with donks.

Is the minraise after 3 or 4 players limp a normal play in cash games because to me it seems like a terrible play that has no meaning or purpose and I have been seeing it a lot since playing cash. I cant even make out a hand that can be reasonable for this type of play. Maybe suited connecters or a low pp to try and build the pot preflop so if they hit good there is enough in the pot to get payed off? But even doing that you could get risked getting reraised. I just its a terrible play but was wondering if it is standard?
Also what type of hands do you see ppl minraiseing after a few limpers?

Thanks...F

im not gonna lie.

I used to minraise pps (22-66) otb if everyone limped to me since it doesnt really cost you much equity wise and builds a nice pot w/ a disguised hand if you hit. u can usually get a free look at the turn if you miss the flop as well.

yea i was thinking that the low pps would only be the hand that could make the minraise... maybe suited connecters as well

I used to raise sc's and pockets too. But it just sucks.
people minraise all kind of hands. suited aces, broadways, J4s ect.
I don't care. If I want to play I "3bet" them. (And you can bet its a potsize raise)
