OP here...I hate it for all the same reasons the rest of you do...it helps bad players. I like it when they (the bad players) bet $6 at a $32 pot, lets me draw for basically free...now they just hammer and I have to fold...these same players that bet $6 at $32, when they have something, can't get away...so for $6 I can win their stack...not an option with the POT button...can we petition to get it off of FT?

Hate it.

Good players will bet close to pot anyway. This just lets bad players default to better bet-sizing.

The hell with it. So many of these players would min3bet instead of pot3bet if it wasn't there, we 2p2ers could use an AHK script anyway.

I don't like it because it tends to help bad players use good strong bet sizing. I personally *love* it for preflop.

It is the absolute single worst thing in online poker. It is a total crutch. It aids bad players. It encourages lazy play. It should be removed from every site that has it. But since it helps sites end MTTs and SNGs faster, I wouldn't hold your breath.

Lots of situations where the pot button gives useful tells.

The flipside to fishies strengthening their betsizing with the bet pot button is that a lot of ordinary, multi-tabling TAGs stop thinking about how to size their bets appropriately. When I played party I got rid of my bet pot script because the second I stopped thinking about what sort of bet sizes to use I became much less involved in the game more generally.
