I probably lead the flop. Besides that i think it's fine, he's bluffing here a lot putting you on a hand you won't call with. Only way you're losing this me thinks is if he sniped a J on the river with J3 or the J high flush draw or something.

Why complete here?

If you have a read that villain will fire with nothing after you open complete/check (which I do 99% of the time) then I guess this is ok. I think this kind of villain will also fire on the turn a lot.

I don't, however, think we are ahead very often on the river. He's bet all three streets, and he's suddenly stopped minbetting. Only think I can put him on that we beat is a busted flushdraw.

Push pre would certainly be fine too.
Actually I hate a raise pre tho.
Basically I hate to get raised on the flop by a flushdraw because I'll prolly fold the best hand-that's why I didn't donk the flop. Sometimes I would tho.
I called river because his line really made me think he was on a draw.
I think I might checkraise flop because he was kinda aggressive but dunno, hand seemed pretty marginal.

as played im folding river probably. i like just leading flop though. if you didnt bet flop b/c you hate getting raised by fd's, consider how many times in a HU pot your opponent will have a flush draw. i dont know the specific numbers but its pretty uncommon.

You're right, but it feels like ppl don't respect shorty donking a flop & raise for fun.
