Default AA multiway pot,I assume caution is prudent here?

Live $200 tourney, blinds at 25/50,nothing much has happened so far,so all stacks are in the $7000 range.

This table seems to have some of the WORST players I've ever seen, except for me an a young kid, everyone's 50+ and are clueless.Really don't think the kid is any better, but at least he's not on an excurtion from the restinghome.... I can get value w big hands here,bc they all seem unable to lay down TP,bluffing is def out, they will call!!Then again, they might call w a set as well....it's been pretty hard to put them on a hand so far...

I'm Button w A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ,Young kid is BB

3 limpers,I raise to 350,BB calls,all limpers call.

Flop J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

They all check,I bet 1200, BB and one limper calls,2 folds.

Turn 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Checked to me,I check as well

River 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB bets 2000, limper folds,I call

Is my line ok here? His small bet at the end might be a please call bet,but I think he could easily feel a J is good here.

Given your reads, I'd often bet the turn as well.

Calling the river good. It would be much trickier IMO is the other player called in front of you.

I'd make it full pot-size on the flop and shove the turn.

You do realize this is a 5 way pot going to the flop and you are playing like 120BB deep...

I actually don't mind the way it was played. You might miss some value from a J, but i rather play these multiway pots more for pot control. If you say they are all caling stations, I'm sure you will have plenty of opportunities to accumlate chips taking them to value town.

4 way pot going into the flop.

I'm always wary of limp callers because their hand is not good enough for a PFR, so they limp hands like 44 & 55. Then donks cold call a hugh PFR and sometimes hit a set.

It's always tough to lay down AA...

I bet like 1400-1500 on the flop, but 1200 is by no disaster. I think the turn is safe enough to bet again, esp considering everyone is so clueless/weak.

River might be a shove if the guy will call QJ/KJ/AJ.

It's 4-way yes, but the board doesn't look very scary here. I think we have to bet strong here with an overpair on the flop cause we give away good odds for the others if we don't.

The initial 120BB are not longer relevant on the flop, cause we have already 1400 in the pot, with a stack of about 7000 left - so with an overpair we are already committed. BTW the preflop action is good for our hand.

I would of course reconsider and probobly fold if my flop bet gets raised, otherwise I play this to the end.

In B&M I tend to make even larger raises since no one knows how to play, so I would make it larger PF, but your raise was fine. Flop is fine, but fire the turn, you NEED to fire here if they're on a draw. MAKE them PAY to see it.
