Hi,
Here is an interesting situation I've just been in Me: As Ad Opponent Tc Jc Board Ac Jd 8c 4c 7s I was playing aggressively, he was calling my raises and re raising. Should I have folded my Trips if I suspected he may have a flush or should I have paid to see his cards. I suspect the textbook answer would be so see him. |

You would get more, as well as unbiased, responses if you do not include results in your posts.
You should show down this hand down since you have a set of aces. He could have two pairs or another set. The only question would be at what point you stop being aggressive. |

I just typed out a post about how folding here was bad... that was when I thought there were FOUR clubs on the board.

If you put him on a flush draw I would just call down after the turn was a club. You could have also put him on a double gut shot, which he would have missed.
It would also be nice to know who else was in the pot and how big the pot was. You can't make a habit out of being aggressive and then folding to a scare card because people will use that against you heads up. |
