mm, bet-call probably isn't too great. Once this turn gets checked around we're almost never against sets/twopairs. Bet though, you can't let it get checked around again. [/ QUOTE ] You prefer bet/threebet? That's bold, but I see your point. How many bets are you putting in? Does it matter who's giving you action? |

I wouldn't go past 4bets, someone raising twice on the river has the nuts way too often.
I hate to say I'd have to be there but it definitely depends on who raises and how they do it. I'll certainly say I'm 3betting more than half the time I get raised; any 7 is getting raised here. |

I guess all you 'bet the turn' cats are feeling pretty smug now, but seriously how the [censored] does that turn get checked through.

I didn't think the turn was getting checked around, I said bet the turn because it gives us the best chance to 3bet.

Of course you bet. If you check I certainly hope it would be with the intention of trying for the c/r again. [/ QUOTE ] Of course. Especially because I think the most likely bet would come from the guy on my left. |

I checked and it checked through. River paired the 7. Now what? [/ QUOTE ] Bet. How does anyone have 2pair/set on the turn and it gets checked through? Anyway, with any luck someone has a naked seven and raises your river bet. |

Bet and reraise if possible. No way someone has you beat here, unless they are really bad.

I wouldn't be shocked if LG had bottom two on the flop or something like that. He could have put on the breaks after all that flop action and a scary board for two pair. Who knows he could have also been going for a c/r with a set and whiffed also.
Having said that, I think you usually want to b/3b the river. |

I think when OOC is jamming with a flush (or nothing) the other two players are often too timid/ don't have anything to bet here.
