Man, 2NL is such a unique game...trying to apply things like commitment threshold and pot control are probably going to cost you value.
The issue is that people call down with so much crap, that you should be willing to commit with top pair imo. |

I guess the only issue that I see is that we are supposed to exhibit Pot Control "unless we have a good reason", and "they are LPP's that call with almost anything" is going to be repeated a lot. Thanks guys, maybe i should bet the turn and river then. Why do people suggest making a very small bet ~ 1/3 of the pot ~ 8 or 9 cents? Is it because throughout the hand my opponent hasn't raised, and also he hasn't bet, so he most likely doesn't have a strong hand and that he won't be calling a big bet, only a small bet?
