No real reads on villain, only 30 hands on the table, so far he was something like 12/10/2.

I like it, hes not very aggressive and very tight so I dont see why hed lead the flop or the river without something. River is very small so some might decide on a raise but with the possible flush this is totally up to you. It looks to me like he has a strong J and thats about it tho, i might have bet turn

The reason i played it this passive is that i dont believe there is much that calls my flop raise that i beat. KJ/AJ maybe. Checking through the turn works for pot control, and also may make him bet worse on the river. I would have bet the river myself, but im not sure there's value in raising.

that flop is soooo dry it has me perplexed as to what his range is aft calling the flop riase. J10-AJ,77,22,JJ...i dont see what else he could possibly have, can u pm me the results?

Is there value on raising? Bluffs dont call, and cant see him having QQ or KK based on preflop. AJ might call, rest is probably stuff that beats us.

I see no value in raising the river..I even doubt if AJ calls vs a villain that appears to be solid..In fact I think a river raise is clearly -EV..Villain will fold all handa we beat and call with hands they beat us...
