Default Quick question on a series price for Bosox

My bookie still has a -175 line up for Boston to win the series. Normally I only do $20 a game/bet, but is it worth the risk here to do a little extra?

I think I'm going to risk $70 to win $40.

You have a huge edge here.
You can wager up to 22.5% of your bankroll.

if you have like extra money not usually used for sports betting like 10k around and youre a financially stable person. it would be a sin to put anything less than 500 or 1000 on this type of edge.

You should really be looking to arb the hell out of that assuming the local guy is good for the money if he loses.

we really don't have enough information to answer this question. what's the chance your bet gets no-actioned? how about the chance the bookie only gives you action if it loses, and cancels otherwise? these things happen more often than you might think, especially with a bookie too lazy to adjust his line.

If you normally bet $20/game, then in theory your bankroll should be about $1000 or so (assuming you make bets of around 2% of your bankroll). You can bet about $200 and be ok here, given that.
