The player on my left was just brought into the table and was sitting out so the blinds could pass him...hence the CO/Button confusion.

Shove it, not matter what: it's a wortwhile risk at this point.
You still have some FE now, but when you'll be in MP then you'll need a stronger hand to play in this way.
