Re: QQ vs TAG
Why do you raise pre then check call so many flops? This is baffling to me!

Re: QQ vs TAG
I don't like your line (are you calling a river bet, btw?), but this spot is pretty gross. I just c-bet and check the turn/bet river if it's checked through. Either way, though, when you're out of position like this with a big pair on a paired board with a flush draw, villain can play most hands pretty much perfectly against you.

Re: QQ vs TAG
I would have bet $14 on the flop.
It is always better to be the aggressor. |

Re: QQ vs TAG
At least bet like $65 on the river.
Check/calling leading turn is decent here though I think I just start firing away. |

Re: QQ vs TAG
Hmm I have somehow gotten into my head that I shouldn't cbet these kind of flops.

Hmm I have somehow gotten into my head that I shouldn't cbet these kind of flops. [/ QUOTE ] Why these types of flops are the most powerful to c-bet. You have a ton of FE, secondly your protecting and getting value from your hand. |

[/ QUOTE ] You don't have as much FE because they don't think you have a 10 because there's two of them on the board so they call with a lot more hands (down to like 66). I love betting this flop almost 100% of the time. |

Re: QQ vs TAG
I must misunderstand what fold-equity is if we have a lot of it here. Someone esplain foldequity better?

I must misunderstand what fold-equity is if we have a lot of it here. Someone esplain foldequity better? [/ QUOTE ] Fold equity: the likelihood your opponent(s) will fold to a bet. The higher the likelihood, the higher the fold equity. It doesn't really have much to do with this sort of hand, though, because the only hands that beat us and might fold are AA or KK, and villain doesn't have them anyway. This hand is about getting value from hands we beat, but not losing our stack if we're beat. |
