Re: AA In Postion Turn decision
You are definitely betting this turn. You don't want to give your opponent a free card if he in fact is drawing to his flush. I would bet 20 here if I thought he was drawing, but I'm curious as to what his stats are.
Do you think he's a tricky opponent, would he slowplay a set? |

Assume no reads, as for slowplaying sets...dont most?

Re: AA In Postion Turn decision
Why would you hesitate this turn? Don't play scared fearing, "OMG hes gonna check raise me on turn with his set."
Even if he goes all in on turn, would you seriously consider folding? |

Re: AA In Postion Turn decision
Well you'd be surprised, but yeah this can be a set.
You can practice pot control by checking the turn, but be weary of the river heart. Again you really have to decide on the turn whether you think he might be drawing, in which you should bet the turn. If you're really iffy, it's ok to check to keep the pot small. |

Re: AA In Postion Turn decision
He means your preflop 3bet is really weak, and I agree, bet more preflop, at least 6.50

Re: AA In Postion Turn decision
prefer decent bet on turn, around $20 would be fine.
Pf 3 bet size is rather low and $7 ish is solid. As played, i like the flop bet size and would think that although a flopped set is possible...you need a good read on villain that he would check two streets with a drawy board and his strong yet vulnerable hand before absolutely giving him credit for that. I'd guess overs with a flush draw/ JJ+ or TPGK to be more reasonable hands for villain, pocket nines may be in there too. |
