Bet the river/call a raise. No doubt. Although you could get c/r here the lack of action on the river is telling. With only 3 players the risk of a check-through would be way too high for a boat-holder to check hoping to raise here.

I raise the flop.

Turn is perfect.

River I b/c obviously folding to the super sexy c/3b by HJ.

And although I advocate a bet on the river I am not suprised to see a c/r here, the turn had major action, somebody who boated on the river is well within their rights to expect a bet to go in on the river.

Raise the flop. Even with several flop checkers behind we want to buy a free card if we need it and fold out bigger aces as sometimes we will miss our flush but catch an ace on the turn or river and win with that. Not to mention that many live players will call 2 bets on the flop just as easily as one and we want to build a pot with your hand.

As played I bet the river and call a raise but hate it against most live players who put in this much action on the turn.

Gotta disagree with you on this one Scar, though it's a close one.

There is some value in trying to fold bigger Aces, that's true, but I think what you gain is smaller than what you lose by shutting out loose calls.

In addition, you're not closing the action by a long shot, and there is always the chance of a 3-bet. This isn't terrible unless your raise and/or the 3-bet force too many people out, but it certainly isn't the optimal situation.

I'd need to be pretty certain a couple people were calling 2 cold here and that no one likely to 3-bet after me to make the move.
