fold pre flop

as played, bet the flop.

Even though we have the button I probably find a fold pre-flop in this instance. Now, if one ore two folks limped in pre-flop I don't mind a raise from you w/ position. However, since MP has opened I find a fold pre-flop.

flop pre flop - this is a nice hand if the Ace is suited to go with the JT, but without it i would probably open fold nevermind call a raise

flop i check, you have a gutshot and thats all here so no reason to get excited, turn i dont mind a bet but probably make is a pot bet, as you now have a double gutter

river i fold - i have no reason to think hes bluffing here without reads, and something like 569x with no suits could easily fall into his turn calling range

Fold the river, way too many ways for us to be beat here.

thanks for the advice. looking back i think folding pre-flop would have been the best plan.

ended up looking him up and he had 579T with 2 spades
