...so a guy going from hard-core alkie to heroin addict to successful professional would no doubt be an interesting story to a lot of us, and perhaps give hope to some who don't think it's possible.

[/ QUOTE ]

Give them hope in the sense that they can do it too?

"Hey, I've always thought that being an alcohlic deadbeat junkie would be kinda cool, but I haven't done it due to possessing a slight smidgen of commen sense, but since Rush gotta away with it I just might give it a go!"

Did I say it as anything other than a plain statement or something?

...then you should definitely not do a thread like that. I don't want to see your job or health endangered for our amusement.

However, if those conditions don't exist then you might as well.

Well said, sir. Rushmore, I too will admit to curiosity on this one.

I'm going to guess this is a joke. Why would I imply that?

Here we have an individual who was drunk for several years consecutively, then somehow became a junkie, and now has apparently put his life back together. How can that not be anything but interesting and inspirational? And how could it possibly lead to people thinking "lolz I'm gonna become an alkie and junkie too, doesn't sound like such a bad time"? Harrowing stories from ex-addicts are among the best deterrents.

No, I am merely trying to keep up with your post count. In the marathon that exists between us I am like Zola Budd and you are Mary Decker Slaney and I may have to trip you to win, but we are clearly among the Best in the World. That said, POGgers obviously fly first class which is way faster than running on a track LDO.

I have no idea who any of those people are. POG posts though should only count for like 1/3 of a post though imo.
