Lon when it is AA against AK and the flop comes A-8-8..it doesn't "all but do it" it does it. For some reason Lon thought the turn card ended that hand. Weird. [/ QUOTE ] runner, runner 8's for a split pot. |

Scotty being a big prick. "Don't [censored] with me", and he said [censored] to Hilm as well. None joking way. He deserved to lose his chips. [/ QUOTE ] perhaps after winning those 2 huge pots, scottie went into "reverse-tilt"... |

[ QUOTE ]
Chad is beyond clueless about poker bubble play. We've heard three times, "He can fold to the FT". At a short table right around FT, wouldn't it be ideal to become more aggressive? [/ QUOTE ] no. he was 3rd in chips... and you saw what being aggressive did. |

Re: WSOP on ESPN thread (10/2 - Day 6)
It was sad to see Scotty implode like that. I wonder if he had consumed a few cocktails late into that evening.
Why not just pick on the small stacks and coast to the final table. Don't get involved in huge pots with the guy that can hurt you. It did seem like he and Hilm had some bad blood and Scotty let Hilm irritate him to the point of effecting his play. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] "did u hit that ace???"....."IM ALL IN" are people retarded? [/ QUOTE ] I think it has become pretty clear over the past few weeks of coverage that he is in fact retarded. Not just because of all the Ohio State gear either. [/ QUOTE ] lol [/ QUOTE ] Can't believe you guys are hatin on this guy. I mean Khan's BS where he scream in the face of the other guy and dances around like a buffoon is really annoying and what is really wrong with televised poker. OSU guy at least shows some genuine positive emotion. I can't believe PS gave this Khan kid a sponsorship deal. As if anyone says this guys the man I'm playing at PS now. Come on. Tran is truly a sick player and I love watching his youtube clips, but I think he was starting to love himself and his sick calls a little too much. Having played into the 5th day at the ME i can tell you with all that is going on and the magnitude of the moment the common amateur who hasn't been in that situation before has a hard time playing his best poker. Given all this I think it's amazing what Yang was able to do by just basically running over everybody else at the end. |

Re: WSOP on ESPN thread (10/2 - Day 6)
I think Yang played it very well actually. As long as his plan was to lead out aggressively. It takes some balls to do that this late in the ME, and generally it paid off for him.
Lots of other hotshots were doing stupid stuff like checking flop/turn after a PF raise, then taking a stab on a blank river and being surprised when they got called down. Although I would have liked to see him pick something other than QJo UTG to mess around with. |

Re: WSOP on ESPN thread (10/2 - Day 6)
Scotty's play on the AQ hand is something you see at a $10 MTT or $5 SNG. Now I know what this bet means and will feel better equipped to handle it in the future :-D.
