You have only one pair
+ villain calls on a very drawy and paired board
+ worst possible turn card (besides 7c)
+ villain reraises all-in ("I beat your overpair")
= easy fold

Do we check the turn for pot control? Especially with that turn card?

I think this is a call. There is a chance he has a set, but you still have outs to the flush and fullhouse. There is a chance he would also make this play with a hand like Ac7c.

That was pretty much my thought process during the hand.

You might think of checking the turn here and calling a decent sized bet if he fires one and then reevaluating on the river. That turn card was bad since he called on the flop, but I still think he'd fire away with a flush draw more often than a set.

What do you beat, that he would bet with, any overpair, top pair on board (trips), flush or straight has you beat.

Fold because you can't really beat anything.

Villain could have a flush already (hero is drawing dead most of the time) or a straight, or two pairs, or an overpair (and hero is drawing slim or dead, if one of the cards is a club).

You only beat a bluff, just fold.

This makes sense. I mean I still feel like I am ahead the vast majority of the time on the flop, so maybe in this case I should have checked the turn and then depending on what the villain does make a decision.
