Dealt to tessek07 [Jd 2d] tessek07: calls 20 [/ QUOTE ] LOL Edit - OK actually looked at the hands for real now. You seem to have a habit of not betting your hands when you're ahead and aggressively betting them when you're behind - reverse that around. |

Re: A few hands I thought were worthy of discussion.
I'd advise you to refuse to slow play any hand for a few weeks or months, learn how to extract money without doing it. Once you do that, you can start to consider slow playing again. I am not sure you understand WHY you slowplay or why you do not.
Multiway limp pots are not the time to slow play bottom 2, top pair or trips with no kicker against random villains. First hand, get something in on that flop, anything. I don't care if you push (silly IMO but at least you are putting money in the pot) bottom two + slowplaying in multipot is a great way to go broke. 2nd- I don't get limping with AK, checking the flop when you hit and then pushing the instant someone shows an interest in the pot. Is everyone slow playing AQ? 3- Treat trips (not sets) like TPTK when it comes to betting. in other words until/if you fill up don't slow play it in this spot. |

Re: A few hands I thought were worthy of discussion.
Last hand is the only interesting one.
Hand 1 fold preflop. bet flop. Don't bet 400 on turn. I guess shove river once you get there. Hand 2 raise preflop. Bet flop. Call turn c/r. Probably bet flop in hand 3. Turn is fine as played Barf and call river hand 4. |

Re: A few hands I thought were worthy of discussion.
Hand one fold pf.
As played pot the flop the overbet is ridiculous. As played shove turn? Hand 2 raise to 60 or 80 pf, as played checking the flop in position is terrible, please bet 2/3 pot As played turn bet is ok, but you can bet more here when you raise pre and follow throuh on the flop, as played shove over the r aise can be paying off so many hands that got to hit 2 pair for free on flop and turn Hand 3: Bet the flop, as played you have to call the river but i would be check/calling there |

Re: A few hands I thought were worthy of discussion.
Thank you all for the responses so far. You all had good advice. After reading a few of your posts I came up with this.
Hand one: I think betting the pot on the flop is right as you all say. On the turn Maybe just push with my two pair. Rather than wait till river. Hand two: Definitly PF raise to 100 as you all mentioned. On the flop bet 2/3 or even the pot. Another 200 or so bet on the turn should give me a real idea about what he has. Check/Raise river. Hand 3: Consensus is call the river. |
