Stars $3-$6 - That wasn\'t supposed to happen
This table was pretty good. The big blind (who was largely irrelevant in this hand) had turned $120 into $1800 in the space of about 30 hands playing a masterful 50/20 game. The cut off was extremely passive and apart from playing 30/6 i hadn't really noticed much about him.
The button however seemed to know what he was doing, my stats said i had played 200 hands with him but apart from this session i don't remember playing with him before. He was running at 24/23, was pretty aggressive and quite good at exerting pressure. A few hands before i had stacked him on KQ8 flop in a 88 v AK confrontation, but apart from that no other hand between us has got past the flop; villain is PrimogenitoX. PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Hero ($829.50) MP ($610.65) CO ($381.10) Button ($801.25) SB ($594) BB ($1866.15) Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $18, 1 fold, CO calls $18, Button calls $18, 1 fold, BB calls $12. Flop: ($75) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) BB checks, Hero checks, CO checks, Button bets $72, BB folds, Hero raises to $244, CO raises to $363.1, Button raises to $783.25, Hero ??? I was pretty sure that if it was checked to PrimogenitoX he would bet and i could raise. So when i check raised i was smugly congratulating myself on my brilliance when i realised that both guys had JAMmed - this was not what i was expecting. If it was just me and the button i would instacall. If it was just me and the cutoff, i would also instacall. If i started with 100bbs, i would probably call (albeit somewhat reluctantly). But two players and 133bbs, is it still a call? Lockjaw |

Re: Stars $3-$6 - That wasn\'t supposed to happen
I just bet out flop. As played I always tell myself this is a fold but end up calling some of the time. By the way, I think you could have made flop raise like $196.

I think we can all agree that this is a real quick fold.
